Djeco Batasaurus - A Memory Battle Card Game
Djeco Batasaurus is most like the card game War, but with a strategic memory twist.
In Batasaurus, players receive a set of dinosaur-themed cards with different power levels. Instead of playing randomly like in traditional War, players first look at their cards and memorize their order before placing them face down. Then, they battle by revealing one card at a time, trying to remember and play stronger cards at the right moment.
This adds a layer of strategy and memory recall that makes it engaging while still keeping a simple, fast-paced gameplay.
🎯 Goal of the game:
Batasaurus is a memory-based battle card game featuring dinosaurs. Players try to win battles by strategically remembering the order of their cards and playing stronger ones at the right time.
🔄 The Set Up:
-
Each player receives 12 dinosaur🦖 cards, each with a strength number from 1 to 12.
- Players look at their cards, memorise their order, and then place them face down in two rows of 6 cards
- The game begins!
Gameplay:
- The youngest player starts. On their turn, players turn over a card of their choice from their 12 cards and place it in the middle of the table.
- Then, with play moving clockwise around the table, the other players in turn each choose one of their cards, and place it in the middle of the table.
- Whoever played the strongest card wins all the cards played and puts them
in a pile to one side as a stock of points won. - The player who has just won the trick leads into the next trick, and so on
- This continues until all 12 battles are complete.
